| Notes: Highly figured and valuable timber. With its shiny leaves, dense canopy and brilliant flowers, it is a very handsome tree reaching 15m to 20m in cultivation. It prefers rich well drained soil and ample moisture but is remarkably adaptable. Birds are attracted to the orange flowers. Full sun is not a problem and light frost is tolerated. | |
